Splash Dash 5K

Hey everyone, I completed the Splash Dash 5K. This was my first time doing this particular race and I must say it was a lot of fun and very WET...My youngest son did it with me and we had a good time. I will say that it was a bit of a struggle for me to complete because my lower back was not cooperating, but I finished. There were seven different water activities during the race including LOTS of people with water guns who were having too much fun soaking all the participants. Five Non-Scale Goals

Soooo it's been a long time since my last post. I have been having some troubles on my journey, but I am in no way giving up. I have not been seeing any changes. I have also started having issues with my left knee and the plantar fascia in my right heel. These issues make it a little harder for me to get a good workout in. I have done a few 5K's and have been successful with those, but I could always improve. I haven't weighed myself in a very long time which brings me to the main purpose of this post. I saw a post on a social media site that advised to make non-scale goals in place of scale (pounds) goals. Here are my non-scale goals that I would like to accomplish in the next six months: 1. Performance goal - this goal would be to improve my 5K time. It currently takes me 1.5 hours to complete a 5K and that is with me mainly walking the entire time. 2.
